News on Brackenbury Transport Map

We’ve received almost 150 comments so far on your concerns and ideas about traffic, safety and the local environment in Brackenbury. It’s been really interesting reading through them, so thank you for getting involved and working with us to improve your neighbourhood! There are certainly some common themes emerging around, for example, rat-running, traffic around schools and the need to cater better for cyclists and pedestrians.

The consultation is open until 31 July, so do encourage your friends and neighbours to add their thoughts before then - the more information we have from you and your community, the better.

Once this initial consultation ends, we will be analysing all your comments and looking at what we can do to address the issues you’ve raised. You will then be able to look at our proposals and give us some further comments before we go ahead with implementing any improvements.
